12 Food Inventions in Singapore that Celebrate the Kim-Trump Summit

While President Trump meets North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, flavours erupt in the background in the form of these finger-licking food creations in Singapore.

The Kim-Trump Summit held today was a historic event that catapulted Singapore into the global spotlight. In anticipation of the arrival of the two leaders, the small city-state was abuzz for weeks and a handful of businesses went into a creative frenzy to ride the wave. The set comprises four pieces of fried chicken accompanied by two whipped potatoes, two coleslaws and two drinks. KFC’s “Four Peace” meal may lack culinary innovation but it’s cleverly named for sure. Unfortunately, this invitation was not extended to the public, and neither was it taken up by Trump and Kim Jong-un.
