Are you one of those who relish the adrenaline rush that comes with hitting the tarmac at full speed? Good news: There is an upcoming venue in Singapore for you to enjoy this thrilling activity! KF1 Karting — the brainchild behind the indoor go-kart circuit at Sentosa — is making its way to Singapore Expo carpark.
Go-kart track at Singapore Expo
Heralded as Singapore’s largest purpose built fun-kart circuit, it is slated to open its doors to the public in the later part of August 2021. Once up and running, the remodelled 300-space carpark will be able to host a maximum of 15 karts at once. It will also feature an air-conditioned viewing gallery that will boast an al fresco dining area in due course.
Plus, it will be the first go-kart track to grace the eastern part of Singapore. For easties, that’ll certainly be music to their ears, as they’ll no longer have to go the distance to indulge in this pastime.
According to KF1, prices for the go-kart session at Singapore Expo will emulate that of Resort World Sentosa circuit:
- $28 for novice drivers (25km/h)
- $35 for advanced drivers (40km/h)
Note: Each go-kart session is expected to last for 10 minutes!
KF1 has taken to social media to share sneak peeks of the go-kart circuit at Singapore Expo. It has even revealed part of its track layout on Facebook.
Besides the go-kart track, Singapore Expo will also be opening up other new amenities in the coming weeks. This includes the following:
- An indoor badminton hall with a total of 22 courts, making it the largest badminton hall in Singapore
- Timbre+ food village
