Ready to fly to your next holiday destination, but not quite sure which airline will give you the best flight experience? Worry not, because aviation safety and product rating agency Airline Ratings recently unveiled their annual ranking for the world’s best airlines in 2022.
The rating done up by Airline Ratings considered factors such as customer feedback, safety reviews, environmental promises, and the age of the airline’s fleets.
And the top airlines in the world this year are…
Coming in at number one for two consecutive years is none other than Qatar Airways. The airline has earned this spot given its guarantee in continuing to fly out essential long-haul routes during the pandemic. Through hard work and resilience — while other airlines were cancelling flights during this period — Qatar Airways has become the world’s largest international airline!
It has also managed to snag the title of Best Business Class thanks to the airline’s precise focus on detail as well as the quality of service!
Coming in second place is Air New Zealand for its great Premium Economy and Economy seats. On the third spot, we have Etihad Airways which is recognised for its shift towards more sustainable flights. The Ethiad Greenliner Programme uses a fleet of Boeing 787 Greenliners that use more efficient engines in order to reduce carbon dioxide emissions!
Meanwhile, Singapore Airlines came in at number five and won the renowned title of Best First Class for its suites crafted to replicate hotel rooms. These suites offer a luxe experience in the sky!
