The falling tree fatally struck a 32-year-old French woman and a 42-year-old South Korean woman. A 43-year-old South Korean woman sustained serious injuries.

Following the tragedy, the sanctuary was immediately closed to the public on 11-12 Dec. This is to allow for a thorough investigation and to ensure the safety of visitors and staff.
