Everybody’s crazy about seeing cherry blossoms in full bloom, and if you are considering that for this year, careful planning is advised. We’ve already made a quick guide in case you are planning to fly to Japan (watch out for Taiwan, too) but if you have had your sights locked on Korea, then this guide is for you.
The Korean Meteorological Administration usually releases their official cherry blossom forecast early March so do check back this page as we will be updating it as soon as more information is available.
Regardless, it is still possible for you to make travel plans as early as today: Korea’s cherry blossoms are often in full bloom between late March to early April depending on the region so have your flights around these dates. You can also check out our forecast (based on the past years) plus the best places to view beautiful sakura blooms all throughout South Korea below:
Seoul: mid April
