TripZillaSeabourn’s new partnership with UNESCO offers tourists increased access to some of the organisation’s most diverse World Heritage sites including the Philippine Rice Terraces, the Taj Mahal in India and the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland!
By paying an additional charge of USD 5-10, passengers can enjoy this tailor-made tour whose proceeds will go towards the preservation of the sites. Seabourn has committed to raising USD 1 million by the end of six years as part of the agreement. Also part of the alliance, the tours will be hosted by World Heritage experts including archaeologists, art and architecture historians and geologists, who will share their exclusive knowledge of the sites with passengers.
Even on the ground, Seabourn plans to offer special World Heritage Discovery Tours that offer close-and-personal information about the sites. With such a vibrant team on board, don’t get too surprised if your tour entails traditional musical performances. Visitors will also get the chance to meet knowledgeable preservationists or tour a walled city with a true blue archaeologist.
