Calling all Potterheads! Imagine six days of living out your Harry Potter dreams while on a cruise with seven friends. A magical fantasy? Nope, it can actually be a reality!
An American-based travel company, Barge Ladies, will be launching Harry-potter themed cruises down River Thames, which flows through southern England. Along the journey, the cruise will make stops that are significant in the Harry Potter films, such as Virginia Water which is where Harry rode the Hippogriff in the Prisoner of Azkaban, the Christ Church College at Oxford which houses the Great Hall at Hogwarts, and Picket Post Close which is also known as 4 Privet Drive. On top of that, the itinerary includes a stop at Warner Brother Studios where visitors can unravel the wonders of the wizarding world and see authentic sets, costumes and props.

The Magna Carta cruise itself is a luxurious experience with six crew members, including a gourmet chef who’ll prepare Hogwarts-inspired meals. The barge features four double rooms, a spacious salon and an outdoor deck with a hot tub. Harry Potter screenings will also be available. The cruise package includes round-trip transfer to/from London, all meals and snacks, an open bar, wines and spirits, daily maid services as well as the excursions.
This truly exciting trip, however, comes with a hefty price tag range from US$35,900 to S$39,800 for a party of up to eight. The Harry Potter river cruise will set sail in August this summer.
