YL is unreasonably enthusiastic about learning from and about the world, preferably through a near-obscene amount of travelling. Hopefully, her penchant for solo backpacking trips means her wallet does not hurt too much. She loves meeting new people, large bodies of water, mountains, all sorts of music, writing, and doing too many things at once. Obsessed with languages and how they work, she is fluent in English and Mandarin, knows rudimentary Japanese and French, and is currently learning Korean.
