Aria Restaurant is located at D’mall on the beachfront of White Beach and serves a wide variety of Italian food. We enjoyed the delicious thin crust wood-fired pizza which was pretty big for two persons. Luckily, Raevian and I are big eaters plus we were famished after our island hopping tour. In addition, we also ordered a delectable seafood pasta and a savoury calamari side to go along. This is definitely the place to visit if you are craving for some Italian food.

6. Halowich

What could be better on a hot day than a delicious ice-cold dessert? Halowich is a popular dessert joint at D’Mall in Boracay that offers sinfully delicious Halo-halo. This is a traditional Filipino dessert made from a mixture of shaved ice and evaporated milk, and added with toppings of boiled sweet beans, jello and fruits. It’s like the Filipino version of Singapore’s Ice-Kachang. The joint is extremely popular with both the locals and tourists, and it was always packed to the brim with a long queue outside the restaurant whenever we walked by. In the end, we decided to order a halo-halo to go. The sweet Filipino dessert tasted wonderful as we slowly savoured the rich flavour of the dessert in our mouths. This is definitely a sinful indulgence that everyone must try!

7. Jonah’s Fruitshake & Snack Bar

If you are in Boracay, it is essential that you try this famous fruitshake. The Chocolate Banana Peanut shake is a signature offering at Jonah’s Fruitshake that has been popular among tourists and locals for many years. The shake is well-blended and the serving is huge. The price is very affordable too.

8 .Tilapia ‘N Chips

This is our favourite restaurant in Boracay. We ordered the famous beer battered fish and chips made from premium quality Dory fish, and it was the best meal we had in Boracay! The portions were huge and the fish fillets tasted really fresh and succulent. The dash of lemon juice provided a nice tangy undertone. The restaurant staffs were all very polite and prompt in their service. The restaurant owner, a bubbly British man, was very friendly and engaged in small talk with us and other customers. If you are visiting Boracay, you must visit this restaurant!

This cozy pub exudes an old world charm with its wooden stools and bar counter, complete with eclectic seafaring memorabilia displayed around the pub. It is the perfect place to chill out with a couple of friends over beer while watching the awesome Boracay sunset.

10. Sumptuous Seafood Dinner Buffet by the Beach

Boracay is famous for its super fresh and delicious seafood. Many restaurants and resorts offer seafood dinner buffets at very reasonable prices. Dine in style on the beach while admiring the beautiful sunsets!

We had the seafood buffet at our resort: “Seafood Island” Buffet at Punta Bunga Beach by Shangri La Boracay. Punta Bunga Beach is privately owned by Shangri-La Boracay. The exclusive beachfront area and convivial ambience create a nice space for patrons to enjoy the sumptuous buffet. Seafood aficionados can dive into the wide variety of seafood on offer: Crabs, Prawns, Squids, Fish, Slipper lobsters, and Mussels. The seafood items are all displayed neatly, with professional chefs on standby to grill them for you. We especially enjoyed the grilled slipper lobsters, which tasted succulent and fresh. In fact, they were so good that we had to help ourselves to multiple servings (kiasu Singaporean-style). Other than seafood, the buffet also offers a variety of Japanese Sashimi, cooked food selections, and sweet desserts.

There is a live band performing all night, and you can request for dedications. The exclusive beachfront dining, sumptuous spread of seafood, and soothing live music made us feel that we were indeed dining on a dreamy “Seafood Island”.
