What to expect from the new Clarke Quay in 2023
Singaporeans may be familiar with the iconic GX-5 Extreme Swing at Clarke Quay. The newest instalment in Clarke Quay, however, is Slingshot, aka Asia’s tallest slingshot! This new Clarke Quay attraction will be an adrenaline-pumping 70-metre ride up into the air above the Singapore River.
Besides this new ride, a closer look at CQ @ Clarke Quay shows the area divided into three main zones.
Firstly, The Riverfront will feature new riverside dining, which you can enjoy while watching boats trail along the Singapore River Cruise.
There’s also The Warehouses, which will feature several retail stores, on top of F&B establishments. This is a fresh concept, since shopping is usually limited to the nearby Clarke Quay Central. Additionally, in-store dining at supermarket FairPrice Finest, a pottery-themed cafe, and beauty salons will be made available at CQ @ Clarke Quay!
Finally, The Circuit will feature “high-energy concepts,” as well as entertainment and F&B establishments. This includes well-known entertainment groups — Zouk Group and 1-Group — expanding their day-to-night offerings.
