CLOY American remake currently in the final planning stages
One of the most beloved and highest-rated dramas in Korean TV history, Crash Landing on You tells the story of a rich South Korean heiress Yoon Se-ri (Son Ye-jin) who accidentally paraglides into North Korea while testing her latest sportswear product. There, she comes across Captain Ri Jeong-hyeok (Hyun Bin), a North Korean army officer, who helps her find her way back to South Korea.
As expected, the shocking news that CLOY is in talks to get a US remake has sparked confusion and scepticism among netizens, to say the least. In particular, many people are wondering where the adaptation can possibly take place for the protagonist to make her crash landing, among other drastic changes that will need to be made to the remake.
