In fact, hands-on learning activities are said to be a lot more effective than just spending our time memorizing facts. At the National Science Centre, you can expect to see lots of entertaining exhibits as well as many mini activities (all in the name of science and learning!). It’s a little out of the city centre, but if you don’t mind the short drive, it’ll be worth it.

There are lots of animal species to discover at this amazing enclosure and it’s also cleverly routed to ensure that you get to see everything without tiring your poor legs out. When the weather is fair though, you’ll want to pay a visit to KLCC Park for some fun family time. Come here for a swim (although it’s pretty much a wading pool for the younger ones), test out their running track, or just laze around under the cool shade of the trees while listening to the sounds of an active park amidst a busy city. If your kids still have a lot of energy after coming out of the water, they can also enjoy themselves at the massive playground in the park itself.
