According to Says, Malaysians can find the Filipino fast food restaurant on LG2.126 next to Seoul Garden. Do note however that this isn’t the first-ever Jollibee branch to open in Malaysia, as the first one actually opened in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (East Malaysia) back in 2018. When it was opened, approximate of 1,000 customers lined up on the first day to taste staple Jollibee dishes like Chickenjoy and the sweet Jollibee Spaghetti.
To locals who find themselves too far from these Jollibee branches in Malaysia, fret not.
In 2019, the Jollibee Foods Corporation announced that it was planning to open 100 outlets in Malaysia in the next 10 years. “We believe that we can appeal to the diversity as what we have seen in other countries where Jollibee has been successful, such as Vietnam, Brunei, Hong Kong, and Singapore,” said JFC president Dennis Flores in an interview. So, let’s keep an eye out for more Jollibee spots in Malaysia opening this year and the next.
