Known for its vibrant atmosphere and delectable street food, the market has officially closed due to the expiration of its lease in December with property developer G Land. The original site is set to become the location for a 125-storey “Super Tower,” Thailand’s future tallest building.

Fans of Jodd Fairs can rejoice as the market’s operator, Rod’s & Son Company, has launched Jodd Fairs Ratchada. Opened in November 2024, this new venue is conveniently located on Ratchadapisek Road near the Cultural Centre MRT station. Spanning 2.08 hectares, the new area can accommodate 928 indoor and 798 outdoor shops. Featuring over 1,500 shops and restaurants, it offers an upgraded version of the beloved market.
