Construction crews are pulling out all the stops to bring this ambitious project to life. On the Malaysian side, 93% of infrastructure is complete, including the Bukit Chagar Station and Wadi Hana Depot, while trackwork is already underway.

Over in Singapore, the viaducts are shaping up beautifully, with 80% of infrastructure work complete. Woodlands North Station, which will integrate seamlessly with Singapore’s Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) network, is on track for completion by 2025.

An Iconic Design

One of the most eye-catching aspects of the RTS Link is its stunning “clasping hands” viaduct. This design isn’t just about aesthetics – It’s a powerful symbol of the friendship and collaboration between Malaysia and Singapore. It’s like a handshake in the sky, reminding us of the strong ties that unite these two nations.

Once fully operational in Dec 2026, the RTS Link is expected to carry up to 10,000 passengers per hour in each direction. This means less congestion at the Causeway, and massive time savings for everyone!

Whether you’re a daily commuter or someone who loves weekends in Johor Bahru (hello, great food and retail therapy!), the RTS Link is about to make your life a whole lot easier. Imagine spending less time stuck in traffic and more time enjoying your destination!
