The famous Filipino fast food restaurant, which has expanded across the globe in countries like the USA, Canada, Spain, Italy, Singapore, and the UAE, serves Filipino staples along with its own signature recipes. Among them is the extra juicy Jollibee Chickenjoy, and of course, its own version of Filipino sweet spaghetti. Jollibee first opened in the UK back in 2018 and can be found in eight locations. These include Cardiff, Newcastle, Liverpool, Leeds, and Leicester Square.
Jollibee’s launch in Scotland is yet another milestone for the Filipino fast food chain as it seeks wider global recognition. According to Ernesto Tanmantiong, chief executive at Jollibee Group, “This is an important moment for us as we introduce Jollibee to Scotland with not one, but two restaurants launching within a month, showing our commitment to expand in Europe.”
He added, “We are looking forward to serving our Scottish customers delicious food in a joyful restaurant experience. We know there are many in Scotland who have waited a long time for Jollibee to arrive and we’re excited to see the local communities experience Jollibee for the first time.” To cater to diverse customers, these Jollibee stores in Scotland will also be serving halal meat.
