Esther YueMarina Bay Sands Singapore (MBS) has launched the second phase of its multi-year renovation program, with an estimated cost of S$1 billion. This ambitious project aims to solidify MBS’s position as a leader in the luxury hospitality industry by offering guests a truly unparalleled experience.
The second phase of renovations will focus on enhancing several key areas of the integrated resort, such as Tower 3, the Hotel Lobby, and Sands SkyPark. There will be over 550 refurbished rooms, new luxurious retail and dining options, and an enhanced focus on wellness experiences for guests.
The second phase of renovations is expected to be completed by 2027, and will be carried out in phases to minimize disruption to guests. The first phase of renovations, which was completed in 2021, saw the refurbishment of the hotel’s casino, theatre, and convention center. Currently, MBS offers approximately 1,280 freshly renovated rooms across Towers 1 and 2, including 390 new suites. These rooms are classified under two categories: The Paiza Collection and The Sands Collection. Each category offers special room types, such as the Horizon Suite which is designed with wellness concepts, and the Family Suite, which contains a kitchenette and bunk beds, catering to families with young children.

Other than luxurious stays, the famous integrated resort also offers world-class entertainment. MBS is home to Singapore’s famous ArtScience Museum, which is currently offering unique art exhibitions such as Future World: Where Art Meets Science and Mars: The Red Mirror.
MBS is slated to unveil a grand expansion by 2028, featuring a new fourth tower offering 587 high-end suites and 12,185 square metres of retail space, alongside a 15,000-seat live entertainment arena.
