Kopenhagen Coffee is a Mont’ Kiara cafe that specialises in the Danish hygge experience. They specialise in coffee, authentic smørrebrød (Danish open-faced sandwiches), and overall chill vibes. When you enter, you wouldn’t believe how cosy the place is; the minimalist interiors and the smell of freshly brewed coffee are two things you’d notice first, followed by the aesthetically pleasing menu items.

2. VCR Stacks

VCR Stacks is another Mont’ Kiara cafe that is perfect for coffee and brunch. It’s most famous for homemade sourdough bread, though the menu also features delicious sandwiches and pizza, among other things. They also serve a wide variety of drinks, including craft beer, fresh juice, and tea. Speaking of waffles, there’s another Mont’ Kiara cafe that serves these timeless treats! ALLO by The Owls Café at Arte Mont’ Kiara is the next brunch spot you need to stop by this week. The pastel-themed setting and the smell of coffee lingering in the air are enough to entice you, but you should stay for their extensive menu. 

ALLO serves delicious pasta, refreshing mocktails, and most importantly, waffles. In fact, they have an iconic North American treat — chicken and waffles. I mean, who could resist a plate of garlic-fried chicken and sweet waffles topped with butter and maple syrup? Definitely not us!

7. See Cafe

Although relatively new, See Cafe is one of many unique cafes in Mont’ Kiara worth checking out! This spot in Arcoris Mont’ Kiara was a project under Signature Market, Malaysia’s largest e-commerce platform for organic products. Visitors are treated to an eco-friendly setting with a zen ambience to match, and a menu boasting speciality coffee and artisanal desserts. 

On your first visit, treat yourself to a refreshing Matcha Mubuki mocktail and indulge in an aesthetically pleasing dessert such as The Blossom. Afterwards, you can explore their hidden experience store at the back of the cafe.

8. What’s On Tap

When you’re looking for great coffee in Mont’ Kiara, What’s On Tap is the place to be! This cafe in Plaza Mont’ Kiara is a haven for baristas and coffee lovers, and the minimalist white interiors are the real cherry on top. Though they have a limited selection of pastries, they make up for it by serving high-quality coffee.

On the note of pretty cafes in Mont’ Kiara, Keopi & Sul. – Cafe & Bistro at Agile Mont’ Kiara will satisfy your Muji-inspired dreams. While they do serve sourdough pizzas like the aforementioned cafe, their speciality lies in hand-rolled bagels. Some of their most famous menu items include refreshing smoothie bowls, avocado toasts, breakfast wraps, and omelettes. The fish tacos and smoked duck pasta are popular as well. For dessert, we recommend ordering their zesty lemon meringue tart. 

15. Lushbowl

Lushbowl is another cafe near Mont’ Kiara that is famous for guilt-free food items. The freshly pressed juices and smoothie bowls will add a pop of colour to your day — and even your Instagram pictures. However, if you’re in the mood for a heartier lunch, Lushbowl does offer delicious poke bowls. 

Dining here is often a relaxing experience, especially with the clean, minimalist theme and hipster vibes. Their soft aesthetic of white walls and potted plants in the corner makes for a great backdrop for pictures, and with your nutritious meal, eating healthy has never been better.

Most of the menu consists of Western dishes, but they do have Asian dishes like nasi lemak and nasi ulam. There are also all-day breakfast items like scrambled eggs and cinnamon french toast, pasta, salads, and sandwiches. There are even vegan menu items like avocado toast, tempeh mushroom rendang, and vegan tacos! 

On a different note, if you’re hungry for something sweet, Tray Cafe has a wide selection of cakes; from the zesty Kaffir Lime Cake to the chocolatey Flourless Belgian Cake. Wash it down with a cup of hot coffee or tea, and you’ll be satisfied!
