Here’s what to expect for your fun-filled family day down at NMS!
Installations and Interactive Zones
“Our Home” and “Our School” Installation
Participate in various childhood games and activities such as writing to a special senior pen pal or designing your dream uniform through this interactive installation. For an added experience, get a Story Collector Starter Pack, which contains stationery and an old-school board game.
If you’re planning on visiting this installation or purchasing the Collector Starter Pack, head over to this here to do so. While admission is free, a S$10 deposit from each adult-child pair is required (which is refundable after attending the event).

Activities with Dennis the Otter
If your kids are adventure-seekers who are up for a challenge, join the Artefact Hunts with Dennis the Otter and his family!
With two different-themed Artefact Hunts to choose from, let your young ones explore the museum in a unique way as they search for eight items scattered around the complex. A set of Early Learning Resources is also given with every ticket; this handy tool will aid both you and your child in completing the tasks!
As there are limited spaces available, be sure to register for a slot here.
Intergenerational workshop: Tales of Old Singapore
Through this workshop, your child can learn more about toys from your childhood and the various places of interest that you’ve frequented in the past. To spice up the experience, you can even get creative by making your very own Snakes and Ladders board game! Yes, it also makes for a keepsake to play from the comfort of home.
With only two remaining time slots available on 18 Dec, be sure to click here to secure your spots soon. Each ticket entitles an adult-child pair to one set of craft materials, “My Family’s Stories” Kit, and NMS Easy Guides.
