Jollibee has long been known as the most iconic Filipino fast-food chain, with over 5,800 overseas stores in 34 countries. And it seems to be showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. According to Commercial Observer, the brand recently signed a deal to open the fourth Jollibee in New York City.
The upcoming store will be located near Manhattan’s famous Grand Central Terminal at 14 East 42nd Street, between Madison and Fifth avenues.

What we know so far about the latest Jollibee NYC location
For those living in the Big Apple, this is definitely good news. What’s more — the lease for the space of this Jollibee near Grand Central is reportedly almost 3,500 square feet! Although, you might have to wait for a while, given that it’s set to open by the end of 2023.
Still, we guarantee that it’ll make for a great pitstop if you’re visiting the famous NYC landmark! After all, Jollibee is best known for delicious offerings such as the crowd favourite Chickenjoy fried chicken, as well as the Jolly Spaghetti and Peach Mango Pie.
“The proximity of this space to Grand Central Terminal offers an incredible opportunity to grow brand awareness among a much broader and diverse audience,” said Maribeth Dela Cruz, business group head of Honeybee Foods Corporation, which handles Jollibee operations in the United States.

Aside from this Jollibee near Grand Central Terminal, the fast-food chain is also opening a Times Square flagship, which was announced early in 2021. This one will be even more massive, with over 7,00 square feet of restaurant space. However, we have yet to hear further updates on when it will open.
