International and local acts like DJ Jay Hardway will be spinning beats at Singapore’s iconic annual beach countdown. 2. Clarke Quay’s New Year’s Eve Block Party Countdown

Did someone say unicorns?! Countdown to the new year with 987FM DJs Gerald Koh and Kimberly Wang at this play blocks-themed party, which comes to life with colourful interlocking play blocks that make up the stage and play areas surrounding the iconic fountain square. Featuring a lineup of bands, DJs and MCs, there’s everything from dancing toy green soldiers and a parade of 3-metre tall unicorn mascot parade to promise you a rave party atmosphere.

3. Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2019

Marina Bay will once again transform itself into the city’s largest countdown celebration this New Year’s Eve. Wrap up 2018 with a slew of programmes that include stunning light displays at key landmarks around the bay, scrumptious bites from the Food Truck Fest, outdoor live acts, a lively bazaar selling an array of quirky knick knacks, and the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival! The biggest draw is, of course, the awe-inspiring fireworks that will illuminate the sky against the iconic Singapore city skyline at the stroke of midnight. In short – pretty sweet stuff.

4. Let’s Celebrate 2019

This countdown concert by Mediacorp is made free for the public for the first time! Hosted by Chua En Lai and Sonia Chew, Mediacorp’s Let’s Celebrate 2019 countdown show features dynamic live performances from local acts like Taufik Batisah, Gentle Bones, Sufi Rashid and more.

5. Sin City: One Last Night of Debauchery, Warehouse Hotel

It’s a celebration of everything debauched at the wickedest countdown party in town at The Warehouse Hotel. ‘Sin City’ marks the award-winning hotel’s inaugural New Year’s Eve party – yes, its first ever! Setting the mood for all things sinful are the seductive moves by The Glamourettes showgirls, disco funk tunes from DJ KFC, and sultry beats from Kaye of Darker Than Wax.

6. Loof Presents: 2019 Lai Liao

Did someone say bak chor mee grilled cheese sandwich? Make a date at rooftop bar Loof’s countdown bash – it has everything from group-serve cocktails, a Bestman Balloon Challenge (remember those nostalgic old-school tubes of bubbles?!), and its signature fusion bar grub that include Chilli Crab Waffles Fries and Bak Chor Mee Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Balls will be dropping as the clock strikes twelve as you scream “2019 Lai liao!” As far as epic starts into the new year go, this might be a winner.

7. Bianco 2018 – Countdown by the Bay

The 4th edition of BIANCO returns to a brand new venue at Chimi’s, the newest Mexican restaurant in town overlooking the scenic Marina Bay cityspace.

Come dressed in all-white for some serious Insta-worthy photos and delight at the stunning aerial acts from Acro Polates, as well as a great lineup of DJs dishing out hits that’ll make you dance into the new year. There’s also scrumptious bar bites that run the gamut of Oysters, Truffle Fries, Crispy Whitebait and Al Pastor Pork Skewers, which you can devour as you watch the fireworks illuminate the sky over Marina Bay come midnight.
