This is not a joke!
What better way to navigate the bustling streets of Seoul than with your very own Oppa? Yes, we kid you not. You can now wander around Seoul (or swoon at Mr Oppa), thanks to the brainchild of South Korean-based tour company, Oh My Oppa.
Note: “Oppa” is a term that girls use to describe an older brother and is more often that not, used affectionately.
Set to resume bookings from April 2018 onwards (ahoy cherry blossom season!), take your pick from eight oppas who have their own distinct itinerary based on their individual interests.
Whether you choose to visit the Sky Lounge at Lotte World with Sam oppa or discover traditional tea houses at Insadong with Ryan oppa, the itineraries will give you a chance to head to more local haunts too.
The itineraries detail the meet-up points, activities and costs of each tour. Another plus point for having your own personal oppa guide? They can speak English and the language barrier will not be a problem!
Now you might be wondering if this will burn a giant hole in your pocket? A two-hour tour starts from US$60 (~S$78.50), depending on your route. Besides the rental fee, you must also bear the costs of your personal expenses.
Look out for the upcoming booking period and start living your romantic K-drama dreams. Don’t forget to snap that priceless selfie at the end of your tour!
