I bet you get goose bumps upon hearing the news. This abandoned structure in Bangkok was once a shopping mall ironically named “The New World”. It was rumoured to be burnt by a competitor in 1999 and remained abandoned ever since. Rainwater then began to fill the roofless building over the years which caused a mosquito problem in the area. To solve the problem, an unknown person introduced a small population of exotic Koi and Catfish species. The result is just dumbfounding.
Jesse Rockwell, one of the brave souls behind these pictures, waited for the policeman to leave the area before trespassing. The exact location of this abandoned shopping mall was not advertised because it is not open to public.
