Angkor Wat, the largest and oldest religious monument in the world, is increasingly becoming a must-see monument in Asia. With an annual increase of 20%, Angkor Wat is continuously enjoying millions of tourists and locals to visit this ancient monastery and be amazed by its archaic beauty.

Angkor Wat was first constructed in the 12th century and has since seen much rain and shine and its ground stepped foot by many curious men, women and children. Now, the temple is part of Angkor World Heritage Site and is considered one of the seven wonders of the world.

The name, Angkor Wat, means “Temple City” in Khmer. Angkor which refers to the city of Cambodia, and Wat is the Khmer word for temple ground.
