Enough of the boring and all familiar themed restaurants sprawling across the globe, here’s one that adds more excitement to your whole dining experience. A Belgian based novelty restaurant, Dinner in the Sky absolutely takes your gastronomic experience to the next level.
Having been set up in various countries worldwide, this hanging restaurant offers a unique dining experience in the steel structure suspended with cables at 50 metres high. For safety reasons, it can only serve 22 people at a time.
The photo above was taken at Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, Shanghai last June. This recent restaurant installation has been warmly welcomed by the people in Shanghai. Today, the Dinner in the Sky franchise has restaurants mounted on a crane in more than 40 countries, serving about 1,000 people each month.
Too scared to try? Here’s a firsthand account of how it feels to dine up above.
