Most of the rooftop bars in the city centre are located at the top of well-known international hotels; the same applies to Mai Bar, which is atop Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral.
In Mai Bar, the gourmet bar snacks and crafted cocktails are crowd favourites. Try one of the Sake-infused cocktails such as Watermelon Sake, Cucumber Sake and Pineapple Sake. You might have already heard of Stratosphere @ The Roof, which is an upscale rooftop bar in Petaling Jaya. It is located atop an infinity grass helipad and is the only bar with such a feature in Asia. Due to its popularity, you need to make reservations a few months ahead.
The spectacular views of Klang Valley and the skyscrapers make a great background for basking in the open air while drinking or chilling the night away with good company. They have delicious canapes, and their drink selection consists of cocktails, wines, and martinis, to name a few.

Deep Blue provides a comfortable gazebo and a neon-lit outdoor roof that gives you an amazing view of the nightlife scene below. One of the most exciting and out of the ordinary rooftop bars in the city centre is the Heli Lounge Bar. Since it opened in 2013, the bar has managed to attract a large crowd and is among the most eventful bars in the city. You can imagine yourself taking off in a helicopter at the rooftop since you will be standing on a helipad with no windows or walls around you.
The helipad will give you a 360° view of the city centre (but try not to stand too close to the edge). This is definitely a perfect spot for photographers to snap photos of the city and skyscrapers from various angles.
