To celebrate the golden jubilee, this year’s SG50 fireworks will go down in history as the largest fireworks celebration in the country. Fired from the Marina Bay area, the fireworks are planned to be shot up 300 meters above ground to provide a wider viewing coverage. Rumor has it that the height of the fireworks is also used to shoot a rainbow fan-shaped arc in the sky. There’s also talk about fireworks in the shape of the word “SG50”.
However, good attractions always come with a price, that price being the large crowds expected to fill up the Padang and Marina Bay area. Therefore, we have compiled a cheat-list that uncovers all the hidden areas to enjoy a stress-free National Day. Not only are these locations good for firework viewings, but will also be useful in enjoying the flyby aircraft displays.
