If you feel like you’ve seen all there is to Sentosa, we have good news! Upgrades and new attractions are underway on Singapore’s fun-filled island and soon, there’ll be more room for play! Here’s what you can look forward to:

Two new tracks on Skyline Luge Sentosa

Possibly one of the coolest attractions in Sentosa, the Skyline Luge will be undergoing an expansion to include two new tracks to the current two. Once this is completed, adventurers will have more to tackle than the Dragon Trail and Jungle Trail, measuring 688 metres and 628 metres respectively. We can’t wait to learn the names of the two new tracks and more importantly, how long they stretch. We also hope the new courses will feature more twists and turns!

Expected completion: Second half of 2017

The AJ Hackett brand is landing on the shores of Sentosa! This company which originates from New Zealand is most famous for bungy jumping, and the new attraction does not disappoint. On top of featuring a 47-metre bungy jump on Siloso Beach (the one and only bungy jump in Singapore), AJ Hackett Sentosa also boasts a giant swing, a vertical skywalk and a skybridge. AJ Hackett has already set foot in places like Australia, China, Russia and France, so it’s about time it came to Singapore and win the hearts (and shrieks) of thrill-seekers here.

An elevated walkway above Merlion Gateway

An elevated walkway spanning Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) to the beaches, across the 12-hectare Merlion Getaway, will soon be constructed. Measuring 450 metres, this walkway will offer sea views and connect visitors from the Merlion cable car station to two Sentosa Express stations. It will increase the capacity for foot traffic and also allow friendly access to wheelchairs and strollers. Perhaps more interestingly, it will also include photo points and interactive play areas.

If you’re worried that construction for this would hinder your visits in the meantime, fret not! Works will be done in phases which minimise disruption. You’ll still be able to enjoy your strolls from the S.E.A. Aquarium to the Skyline Luge and back! What’s more, the eponym of the gateway, The Merlion itself, will have facelift works completed by this year.

Expected completion: 2021

A new secret attraction to be unveiled…

A mysterious new ride will be located right in the heart of Sentosa, on a one-hectare site between Imbiah Lookout and Siloso Beach. While not much has been disclosed, we do know that it will be built on a slope, targeting thrill-seekers, youth and families. Could it be a roller coaster? Rock-climbing? Abseiling, perhaps? Whatever it may be, we bet it’s gonna be ten times the fun.

Expected completion: To be updated
