With the holidays around the corner and many of the Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL) open, travelling is once again on the up and up. To facilitate the long-awaited opening of the borders, Singapore Airlines is launching a new scheme that will help travellers save on their flights: the SIA Flight Pass. Here is everything you’ll need to know in order to get the biggest bang for your buck the next time you fly!
What is the SIA Flight Pass?
The SIA Flight Pass allows you to pre-purchase multiple flight tickets at a discounted rate and then use them for flight bookings on specific dates later. In essence, it functions as a pre-paid voucher of sorts that allows you to lock in discounted airfares for multiple flights, and then decide on your travel dates later at your convenience.
As a start, the Flight Pass will be offered on SIA flights between Singapore and VTL destinations like France, Italy, South Korea, Spain, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

How does it work?
First, you start off by choosing what kind of Flight Pass bundles you’re looking for. Pick your preferred destination(s), number of flights, and number of flight tickets required.
Then, you can customise the flexibility of your Flight Pass by deciding on the travel period validity, advance booking condition, and fare type.
Lastly, you’ll just have to pay the full amount and you’re ready to book eligible flights whenever you’re ready to travel!
What are the perks of the SIA Flight Pass?
The number one selling point of the Flight Pass is its flexibility paired with affordability.
We’ve all heard those travel hacks that tell us to jump through a dozen hoops and time our flight bookings to perfection in order to comp the cheapest flights. I mean, who has time to keep track and scour for cheap flights on the third Tuesday of every second month?
Camping out for budget-friendly flight tickets is now a thing of the past, as you can purchase the lower rates as Flight Pass bundles and then use them to book a flight at a later date. This means you can comp the deal without even having any travel plans yet!
And the cherry on top? The tickets in each Flight Pass bundle can also be shared with family members, friends, colleagues, or anyone else that the buyer chooses. This allows travellers to enjoy cost savings by pooling together their travels.

Even though many of the Singapore VTLs are open, I’m sure many of us aren’t quite sure yet when we want to travel. It’s times like these that the Flight Pass becomes infinitely more useful and is, without a doubt, going to be the way forward for budget-friendly travel. You can purchase and manage your SIA Travel Pass on their official website.
