Esther YueIn celebration of Singapore Cable Car‘s 50th anniversary, Singapore Cable Car has launched its new SkyOrb Cabins, which are the world’s first chrome-finished spherical cable car cabins. Starting 20 Mar 2024, seven new SkyOrb Cabins will join the existing fleet of cable cars and start carrying guests between Mount Faber Peak and Sentosa.

SkyOrb Cabins: The first of its kind in the world
Designed exclusively for Singapore Cable Car, these new cabins boast a futuristic look that breaks the boundaries of traditional cable car aesthetics.
The cabins are fitted with glass-bottomed floors which will allow guests to enjoy stunning views of the scenery below their feet. Guests can look forward to a bird’s eye view of the Singapore skyline and key landmarks including Harbourfront, Sentosa, and Mount Faber Peak.
And when night falls, the cabin windows are illuminated beautifully with lighted rings, creating an ultra-romantic atmosphere. Each SkyOrb Cabin is also equipped with double window louvres at the front and triple window louvres at the rear, which provide enhanced air ventilation for guests on board.

How to purchase tickets
Tickets to board Singapore Cable Car’s SkyOrb Cabins are now available for purchase at the Singapore Cable Car Mount Faber and Sentosa Station ticketing counters.
Furthermore, Mount Faber Line and Cable Car Sky Pass ticket holders can upgrade one way of their round trip to a SkyOrb Cabin experience. This upgrade will cost S$15 per person on weekdays and S$20 per person on weekends and public holidays.
The SkyOrb Cabins are the newest launch as part of Singapore Cable Car’s 50th anniversary celebrations. Currently, Singapore Cable Car is offering Pokémon-themed cable car rides till 30 Apr 2024.
