One thing’s for sure: as busy as they already are, airports are slated to only get busier.

In fact, it is projected that 2019 will set an all-new record for air passengers, with estimates of a 130% increase compared to 2004.
However, just which airport welcomes the most number of passengers each year?
The answer: Atlanta’s international airport. The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, USA recorded over 107 million air passengers in 2018, making it the busiest passenger airport for its 21st consecutive year. Impressive.
