Travel Revolution Fair (TRF) 2017, happening from 4-6 Aug 2017, promises a fabulous time for all its visitors. If you have no plans for this weekend, head down to the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre!
An array of travel deals
The star of TRF is undoubtedly the wealth of travel deals and information available. We spotted some of the biggest names in the travel industry like Contiki, Nam Ho Travel and Chan Brothers. A plethora of travel packages – to Asia, Europe and beyond – are available, catering to all sorts of travellers from youths and couples to families. You can also catch cruise experts like Royal Caribbean and Dream Cruises at their booths, all ready to send you off for a vacation that’s truly smooth sailing. You can also learn about the various countries from their own respective tourism boards, such as Japan National Tourist Organisation (JNTO) and Taiwan Tourism Bureau.
Pop-up bazaar
The Wanderlust Market is truly a special addition to this year’s TRF! After shopping for your next holiday, you can peruse through the stalls here and go home with shopping bags in tow. Sporting jewellery, clothes, accessories and decorative items, this little market-area is a hipster haven!
Freebies and free games
This edition of TRF is filled with free samples and fun games with prizes at almost every corner!
Be sure to check out the awesome Swiss-inspired mini golf area and the wheel of fortune giveaway courtesy of Turkey Tourism. Free wine? Yes please! You can sample free wine at booth D28, home to JR Asia. There is also free popcorn and cotton candy available!
Picture opportunities
TRF could also pass as a cultural showcase, with representatives dressed in costumes and snippets of exhibitions displayed by tourism boards. If you’re lucky, you might also spot some cuddly friends walking by!
Travel essentials
You’re not ready for your next trip until you’re equipped with the right tools. Right next to the entrance, you’ll find luggages on sale.
