In a fast-moving world where trends come and go, the travel industry must work extra to make sure that they keep up with the needs of travellers. This is one of the reasons why we organise the annual TripZilla Excellence Awards, as our way of honouring the industry’s best travel companies and organisations for service excellence, outstanding business practices and delivering the most innovative travel experiences.
The Awards turn 4 this year, and is our most hotly contested one yet, with 72 categories, including new ones such as Best Suites At Sea and Best Travel App. We are pleased to announce the winners today, after an intensive round of voting carried out on TripZilla’s platform from 10 to 24 October. First-time winners who made it to the honour roll include Hotels.com, Holiday Inn Singapore, and Rafting New Zealand. Several winners have also cemented their reputation by clinching the Awards for a few consecutive years, such as JTB Pte Ltd and EU Holidays Pte Ltd, who won Best for Japan and Best for Europe respectively.
“The timing of the Awards’ results release is not happenstance”, said Winnie Tan, CEO of TripZilla. “It was chosen to help the many travellers who are planning their year-end vacations make more informed choices.” She adds, “the Awards is our way of saluting the best in the industry for their great work in the past and to thank them for tirelessly delivering better travel experiences every day.”
