This year’s theme takes visitors on a trip down memory lane, echoing the very first Tulipmania exhibit back in 2013. Imagine a breathtaking landscape carpeted with rows upon rows of tulips in a dazzling explosion of colour, reminiscent of classic Dutch tulip fields.

What to expect at the Tulipmania 2024
Prepare to be mesmerised by over 54,000 tulips, boasting more than 20 unique varieties! Keep an eye out for four exciting newcomers this year:
- Purple Circus: This fringed tulip features elegant white flowers accented with playful pinkish-purple hues.
- Double Negrita: A double-petaled wonder cloaked in a velvety shade of purple.
- Negrita Crown: A dark violet crown tulip that will steal the show.
- Crown of Dynasty: A regal crown tulip with a captivating pink and cream colour combination.
Complementing the vibrant tulips are double-petaled daffodils imported directly from the Netherlands, the Daffodil Peach Swirl and Double Daffodil Heamoor, is a great additional touch of delicate charm.

More than just flowers
The magic of Tulipmania doesn’t stop at flowers! Immerse yourself in a captivating landscape that seamlessly blends traditional Dutch charm with modern marvels. Spot iconic symbols of the Dutch countryside like quaint windmills, water mills, and thatched-roof farmhouses, transporting you to a bygone era.
Juxtaposed against these nostalgic elements are towering wind turbines, reaching an impressive 5.5 metres! These modern giants represent the Netherlands’ progressive focus on sustainability and renewable energy.
As you wander through this floral wonderland, be sure to explore the Mediterranean garden, showcasing an array of microgreens and Asian leafy vegetables. Don’t miss the collection of 104 miniature Delft Blue houses, each meticulously crafted to resemble a historical Dutch building.
Tulipmania is a must-see for flower lovers and anyone seeking a colourful escape. The exhibit runs until 26 May 2024 at the Flower Dome, Gardens by the Bay. Opening hours are from 9am to 9pm. Ticket prices for Singapore residents are S$12 for adults and S$8 for children and seniors.
